Fringe Rate Update:
EGMS will be updating the fringe benefit rates on 03/08/08 to reflect the new FY 2009 fringe rates released by Budget Director, call x41033 for more info. (03/07/08).

A new NIH cap of 191,300 has been announced, see link to NIH for more information

The new four-year F&A rates
These rates will be added to EGMS on 11/19/07. More information about the new rates can be found at the SPA webpage: F&A Rates

New PRF Updates:
On June 6, the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) launched an improved Proposal Routing Form (PRF). At this time all PRF's old and new will be displayed in the new PRF web form. A key component that will not be included in the June 6 release is the approver matrix and parallel routing capabilities. This component is still under development. Proposal Form Preparation
Complete and print sponsor-required proposal forms. Sponsor specific forms are available for NIH, NSF, and MnDOT. In addition, a Generic option is provided to prepare budgets and forms in a standardized format accepted by many sponsors.

Complete, print, electronically route, and approve these University forms: Proposal Routing Form (PRF), Report of External Professional Activities (REPA), Material Transfer Agreement Routing Form (MTARF), Request for Consultant or Outside Service Agreement (ROC), and EGMS FormsNirvana Access Request (FNA).
